Yup, Kier and Asad both do blank SS bats and I have seen some beauties. I have a couple of SS's in the 'hidden from the wife cupboard'.

Colts cricket in Chessington carry SF I believe.
we have SS ,LE, Grade 1,Grade 2 in stock, all plain

The SS Ton Heritage that you have for 2lb 8 on your website listing is it still available? The pic shows 5 bats on line at £124.99 the one i am interested in is the last bat on the right.

Can you tell me grade of willow and in your opinion how they perform. Please pm me.

Thanks

Where did you get the softs from cd?-where the gloves smaller?

ibreak12free went to India so he sorted me out.

Yes sir, they are indeed smaller than UK mens :) Indian Mens = UK Small mens as we all know. Hoping they'll open up with use

I got Hilite pads and gloves

Has anybody used or seen these bats in the flesh at all?  I do remember somebody posted that they got a SG bat and gloves on here recently and it looked really nice. I fancy trying and Indian bat. I believe this is Rahul Dravid company?

If anybody could help or point me in the direction of where I may be able to find one that would be great.
We have some SG softs in stock, but if you need a particular bat, just let me know which model, approx weight and we can order one for you. Weight may not be exact but we will request it.

I have had 2 SGs and they have been fantastic. Great prices, pick ups and they ping really well. Low middles however, if that's not your thing.

I used my SG Sunny Tonny that I bought from India last year. They are quality bats with good ping. Mine is a cracker jack...absolutely flies. The handle is round (don't know your preference) and also a bit on the thinner side.  Might need to use two grips.
Profile is typical subcontinent style with thick edges with mid to low sweet spot. Mine has minimal concaving. They however do not specify the grade of the willow used on any of their bats.
From what I know CJI in Bournemouth sell them :

Hope this helps.

One of the Indian guys who played for my midweek team last year had a SG bat. Can't remember which one it was but it seemed like a good bat when he used it. Only thing that put me off was the really thin handle, I'm sure even the bats I used as a kid had thicker handles.

I saw some SG bats during my last visit to india and they really looked good. Big profile T20i and VS 319 bats , pinged really well.
I would rate SG close to SS bats and they are only getting better.
Again its mass production and there will be planks too same as GN.

I think that I have only ever seen 2 SG bats. One a couple of weeks ago, which sounded like a plank, although I found out it was actually cracking at the splice area. The other was one some guy in our University team bought for £300 from India. He said it was the best bat money could buy, and I was pretty skeptical. That is, until I saw him hit a fifty off 12 balls... =.= To be fair, it was 6s, but the boundaries were pretty big, and he hit a few MASSIVE sixes. He is a big hitter though, and I'm sure he could do similar with bats not quite nearly as good. :-[ It was still quite something to watch!
