Watching the test today i saw that Ambrose as well as taking the ball ower than other keeper's do (around his ankles instead of waist hight) he takes the ball quite deep in his gloves. Also to the knick that Freddie caught De Viller's off Ambrose didn't even try and go for it. Also another one that came off De Viller's pads that looked like an edge he didn't go for.

He just looks out of his depth especially batting at number 6, but i think the England Management team have lost the plot for this Test, say no more!

Agree totlay with you there e4sby. Pattinson who the hell is he? He looks out off his depth as well. Putting Ambrose at 6 when it's clear he's out of knick, not that if he was playing well he would score any runs imo.

Well 50 On Debut And 100 In Second Test Shows He Is Capable At International Level.
I Mean Collingwood Made A Double Century Against The "Best" Test Side In The World And Now He's Out Of The Squad, Because He's Out Of Form, Not Because He's A Bad Player.

I'd Love/Hate To Be An England Selector.
I Look At The Squad And Think..."What!" And Pull My Hair Out.
But Take The Keeper Situation.
Do You Want A Gloveman? A Batsmen That Keeps? A Genuine 50/50 Keeper Batsman?
A Keeper That Consistently Gets 20-40? Or Somebody Hit And Miss.... Will Go 3 Tests With A HS Of 12 And Then Gets 80 In The Last Test?

I agree Foster is a class gloveman and should be bought back in. However now Prior has come back in and scored runs and done decently behind the stumps i think he will be our keeper again unfortuantly.
