A Job for the Shoe Doctor!!
« on: November 27, 2012, 10:59:19 PM »

Ok guys I'm looking to get a new set of spikes done, I want them to be unique!

I've narrowed my choice down to these 3. I really like all 3 but cannot make my mind up.

Can you help?

My new balance trainers are all sorts of comfy mate.
I'd recommend them for comfort.

Or if you can go and try them all on see which ones feel best.

None of these!!! Go tennis shoe instead - offer similar support to cricket shoes and some come with toe protection too.

Of the 3 models you gave picked they're all very shexy!! Struggling to pick a favourite

definitely different to most pairs of spikes  ;) out of those 3 I would chose pair number 1 as they're the least neon.

Trouble with tennis shoes is they are either plain white and boring or absolutely zany!!

Also these are for purely fielding in, I've got advance 4's to bat in

I'm another New Balance fan....as trainers they take some beating and they seem to be pretty hard wearing....Brooks are good as well though...

If you going for unique, I think the NB will do the job. Do these options provide enough support and stability though? I have never fitted them on or owned a pair, so just wondering. All of them will certainly look good though when spiked up!
