I had two bats last season, and tended to chop and change quite a bit throughout the season.  Somehow they have multiplied and I will have four bats, I have an idea which will be my main/match bat, but until I get my hands on it I won't know!

To think when I joined the forum I had a Kashmir willow woodworm, and my bag and softs were from he Old Man's company, I now have none of that kit left!

I have bought and got rid of so many bats, it's scary, but realistically i have two that i really rate and used last summer. I should just sell of the others really as they aren't getting a look in. But then i also have a bag in the attic full of 20 year olds, including a couple gms, a couple of hunts and a gn. These are special though!

Does still mean i have 7 at the moment, although softs aren't such an issue...

I use what I feel like on a given day (and depending on where I'm playing - CS games, its always gonna be the Distinction because its lighter and spine-heavy, Vine Lane the big beast, away games the Hattori or Black Cat...

I'm still using the same match bat going into the 5th season....will upload some pics as just given her the kiss of life today!

Don't show off though! I bet you still have other bats in your possession!

Only 3 now mate that are "mine" as such.

One match bat, one net bat and one lammy. Culled it down from the 11 I had at one point to 7 and now just the 3 :)

Paying for a wedding will do that to a man :(

I have 23, few are to be posted soon whereas few are expected to come. So figure will remain the same...

In February I decided that I will stick to one bat till last day of my season and I was successful in doing this. I just struck with Screaming Cat and ensured I played with it every time.

For me it worked other way around, if I changed the bat I would not be able to bat as the feel of other bat would not be spot on, it won't be like Screaming Cat so that sat in my mind, hence, nothing else allured me.

When season ends, then I use the "rotation policy," which is simple for me. Its where I use one bat for 4-6 weeks before moving onto another one.

This thread is like a therapy session....

'Hello my name is Ed and I've got too many guitars'

I don't have too many bats because I've been buying guitars recently. I shall however now switch my attention to bats.

A man cannot have too many guitars of bats.

I like you Ed, we shall talk guitars!

I currently have more guitars than usable bats, and I have two guitars. Finally found a bat I don't want to break or replace so want to keep hold of it for as long as possible!

Most I've ever owned is 9, then I trimmed the fat a little, either through giving away bats that were still usable or finally retiring trusty old faithfuls that would cower in the corner at the mere mention of going back in my vice for some more repairs.

Currently i have 4 bats, with the possible addition of 1 more.

My Powerbow Strauss LE is my saturday match bat, and probably will be for as long as I can keep it alive.

My Bellingham & Smith Supreme I tend to use Sundays.

My Vitas Cricket Lion Roar is my wet weather/friendly cricket weapon. Mainly used to bunt filth over the ropes, or to protect my delicate blades when it's wet.

My new Laver Reserve, well, I haven't decided yet!

Looking maybe to add a Slazenger V6 as I really like the pro tour softs. However i can't really justify getting another top end bat, so the V12 is not something I'm considering. The V12's I have in stock are beautiful though, tempting!!!

Anyone remember this thread that Hosk made? I wasn't a member at the time, but just scrolling through some old topics, I found this...
