We are here to serve you, the customer. So if you want to ask anything at all, please don't be shy.

We don't stock gear from a few notable brands (Newbery, puma, Adidas) but we are looking to expand in 2014. If there is something you want that isn't on our website, ask anyway and we may be able to help.

Hi Jake, though't I'd share some ways to improve your shop. This is all personal preference so just ignore it if you don't agree with it but thought i'd just put forward some ideas for you

Looking at your cover photo on facebook the shop looks immaculate and the wooden shelfs holding the bats really appeal to me. The shop looks very organised and I personally prefer buying from a shop that's organised and tidy rather than something that looks like a jumble sale.From the first impression of your cover photo on facebook is that you only seem to stock kookaburra,GM,GN and slazenger. I know you stock a lot more different brands than that but from first impressions it might make a customer think you don't have that bat they are looking for so they might head else were without even hesitating to look at your website.

I would also personally change the homepage layout of your website as it looks a bit dull. I'm not a fan out the sale section in that text box. Although I have to complement you on the next stage of your website after clicking one of the brand names. Really big fan of the Pictures of the products as they are large and they seem to be in HD. I think it works really well on the softs and that really appealed to me. But you would have got a 10/10 from me had all your bats been photographed by hand instead of stock photos as customers we would prefer seeing your actual bats. I know its a hassle but its something I'd prefer

I would also advertise one or a few of your special offer products you have on the homepage too with pictures of it. This is more likely to grab the attention of a customer and also help you sell the old products you need to shift.

I think you really have an advantage over most other specialist cricket stores out there by having your own net. So I think by advertising It more clearer on your website would also be key to attracting more cricketers to come down to your shop. It seemed easy to miss if your only having a quick glance. But when I did click on the net hire tab, your summary on the net hire was very well written and made me really want to visit the shop (sadly I'm no were near it!)

But I think customer service wise you sound really great, maybe see an order with my name on it in the future.

Unfortunately, this is the v1.0 build of our website, and I'm not sure how much can be changed without needing to build a brand new one (costing more cash!) but it's definitely something for the longer term when v2.0 eventually arrives. In the short term though I think I can do more within the current build to highlight the net and special offers. I'll be making a new FB cover photo tomorrow.

As for photos of actual bats, I agree to an extent, but I would never be able to get it to look professional enough, plus that would just be a single example that may have sold months before a customer buys, the bat they get may look totally different. People who want to see a bat before buying will always ask for pictures, and we will always oblige.

Yeah I think if you at least modify the special offers and the net hire then It will look a lot better.

Fair enough I didn't take this into account, I agree with you there it can take a lot f time and effort. As long as your providing pictures to customers then I think the customer service standerd is quite high then

I also forgot to add that doing video reviews of products is also a big must. I think taking a leaf out of Paul at IJC'S book is something to do as he does his reviews on his products brilliantly. Its a big insight into understanding more about the product and to get a view of the product.
