The fleece I picked up today was far far thicker than the puzzle stuff I bought for my own.

Thicker than some bat covers I've had before, but I can certainly experiment with a double layer foam inserted bad boy bat cover!

Thicker with foam would be good for a bat cover, gives some protection for the bat as well whilst in transit.

Do people not have Bat Caves anyway?? I do. Don't think I've actually carried a bat outside a bag.. well ever (in all 3 seasons )

Trouble with adding the foam to it would be I'd have to use two pieces of fleece which is twice the fabric then the price of the foam as well.

I will certainly give this a go though!!

nah, just one lot of fleece. some foam and then just some thin sheet type stuff on the inside.. something smooth so the bats glide in.. silk like

Get Tom Evans on board to design a logo and Gareth Bull on board so you can get them embroidered.

We had ours embroidered when we started out as did them for the helmets and gloves originally....only stopped as turnaround and price added a fair bit
