then for 2013 I am already down £3100 from the machine/feeder and balls and I've also got an Aero P1 strippers from IJC so it's around the £3150 mark so far then :(. I expect to buy this season.. Bag, spikes (2), bats (3), pads, gloves (4), helmet, grips, few new cricket balls and probably some new sun glasses... really need to find some more games to play in in 2013!!!

It's a mixture of teams mate. That includes my weekend team, my midweek team, my T20 teams, some other sides that I played for with and against touring teams etc.

If I exclude T20's and the touring games so it's just weekend stuff then it's at the 38 avg mark. :(

Wow loads of games. That is great and I remember the days of playing 3 or 4 times a week.

I don't like to miss any games through the cricket season. I am probably one of a few people around now a days it appears who refuse to take holidays, go to parties etc during the cricket season. Don't blame anyone who does choose that, but it's just I fully commit to playing and so I'm available every single game.

might see what a few mates say about their kit to runs ratio.. I suspect most i know don't spend anywhere near as much as anyone on here does though.

kit £0 in 2012, runs ~ 300, so what's that?

Can bowlers doe the same thing with wickets?! ;-)

Not last season the year before when I was buying lots of kit and still not scoring runs I decided if I wanted to buy something I had to score the equivalent runs per value before I'd buy anything.... I guess that's a good way of keeping your spending under control

Well I bat down the order so even if I was that good I'd never get any runs because of my position in the line-up! Suffice to say I'm about 6:1 in terms of £:runs ratio!

in the nets i look like Pieterson and in the middle i look like Chris Martin so mine is probably 50 pounds per one run at the moment

Bought an octopus grip for a quid. Only played 2 matches and squeezed in 29 runs in those 2 (6 wickets) if we put em together then im 30:1!
