In this video he is netting next to you root, he's using a blank bat and rather plain looking gloves. I take it he is still with puma?

Perhaps he has a Batmaker like other Pro's do, just waiting on new stickers to be sent to him is my guess.
If that was him 1.00 in, they are kook thigh guards...

Maybe he's done a prior and got a local bat made for him. He maybe just forgot his gear as i doubt he normally uses Kookaburra thigh pads. Buttlers cast offs maybe

This would not surprise me, there will be all kinds of different pitches in India, the country is so vast!

Kieswetter uses Millichamp & Hall bats. While some of our guys were at the factory they said he had just been and picked up his seasons worth of bats from them.

Could M&H ever be in a position to sponsor him outright? I remember seeing Tres, Parsons and Caddick using them on TV back in the day

Would be good to see someone like M&H sponsoring a pro but doubt they can compete with the big names

Puma have also lost/dropped Compton and Marcus North very recently. And poor sales in 2012 meant they didn't update their range in full.

He is also using the Masuri, although he normally swaps between the 2 frequently, its generally puma to bat in and masuri to keep

If a player was in the process of changing sponsors you would expect them to have blank bats and the coloured pads of their old sponsor
