there are 2-3 companies called wombat i believe. one uk based, one in aus and i think india has one aswell

A wombat doesn't exactly bring cricket to mind, but apparently they are legit.
Odd choice for a brand name in my opinion and the stickers are pretty bad.

MY favourite thing about this rag tag outfit is they decided to rip off not only an old technology (about ten years) but also one that has been banned by the MCC for almost as long, the ban kicked in on the Kookaburra Smart Bat before they even got to market with it.


Are those heat generating SM bats sold anywhere? Perhaps good bat for Canadian winters..

They are sold by a guy local to me. Though i don't for a second believe there is anything in the handle.

The tech isn't theirs to start with, and Kook abandoned it before fully finishing it after it was banned, plus as Norbs pointed out, its a fairly pointless idea anyway.
