2013 Black Cat Prodigy
« on: January 11, 2013, 12:11:17 PM »

Coming soon... The Prodigy.

Half way (in every dimension) between a Harrow and a Short Handle.

The ideal stepping point for a year or two in the move from junior bats to senior bats.

These bats have a great profile, given they weigh aroung 2lb 5oz or 2lb 6oz with stickers/grips.

Handmade in England.

11 choices of colours, starting at £175.00

They look very classy, as usual Charlie! Out of interest, why such a big range of colours?  ??? Will these be shaped to the same specs of the Shadow, except in the midway dimension between Harrow and Short Handle?

Exactly right Chad.

They're a Shadow, but made halfway between a Harrow and SH.

Big range of colours because... why not!

In all honesty, the idea was, because these would make such a great bat for a young lad, 3 or 4 players in the same team could have one, but could each have their own 'unique' colour, rather than all having literally the same bat...

We see these as being a great bat for a) young lads that are too big/strong for a harrow, but find a SH slightly too big/heavy, b) smaller men, who find the standard range of SHs on offer that bit too heavy, and c) lady cricketers who just aren't quite as strong as men, and who end up having something very similar to the Prodigy custom made for them anyway!

Really like some of the sticker colours on offer. Good idea too, makes a bat more personalised
