I know - I just posted it in case a team found themselves in a bit of a pickle (did you see what I did there?) and needed to 'buy one in' in an emergency.

Our teas at Cheam are horrendous, the best locally are either Beddington or Banstead

Prior to commencement of the game each player has to pay around 6.30 GBP ($10 CAD) which is ball fee and lunch fee. However, you can't opt out for latter one.

It depends on the day but last season I just played four games so my current club would order Biryani (on home games), Somosas (intra-club Twenty20 games) and pizza on away games. I'm cautious over what I eat as a Muslim so I do refrain from most of appetite when I'm not convinced with it being Halal.

Each member of our team takes it in turn to make the teas each week. We are told to spend 30 pounds and the club pays back on the saturday. Last season I went all out when it was my turn and spent well over 60 pounds (including duck pancakes and hoisin sauce!). We were playing gloucester pakistanis and i was gutted to find out that they were on ramadam!!! 60+ quid on food for 11 players!

If anyone is in the Dorset leagues and has to play Poole, at Poole Park, Fear not as Subway is just across the road!
The teas there are dreadful, The players know they are awful!

If you play their 4ths though, you are in for a treat! One of their players is a baker!

I can't even remember having teas when we played there 2 years ago! Can't have been anything special

Once in a junior game, they had almost forgot about our teas and on that day there was three sandwiches per team. Of which I had a fifth of a sandwich, great considering we all had to pay £3.00 for our teas  >:(

We spend about $300 per match to feed people...sometimes its local businesses othertimes its teammates in need of cash who can also cook very well that take that money and provide food, snacks(fruit & granola) and water for both teams...makes for a nice meal...
