The changing face of my kit…

I was looking back at how my kit has changed  over the last few seasons and I thought I would share it...

Here is my kit (and lovely carpet when I joined the forum)

2010 -
Hawk thigh pads, original Ice Sub Zero pads and gloves, SAF Genus
100 (bought on joining the forum) Ice sub Zero Bat and Pakistani made  Lion Special, Older style Masuri Lid and ever
present shock Dr and Asic Gel Gully 2’s

2011
This then changed to:

Bats: SAF Genus 100,
Pads: Kook Ice 850s
Gloves: Kook Ice 850s x2
Protection: new style (wasn’t as good) Hawk thigh pad set
Box: Shock Dr
Lid: New Style Masuri Ti
Shoes: Nike Span 7's with some help from Brian and Brenda/Asic gel gully 2 (for
when I have to bowl- about twice a season these days!)

But then for 2012 I decided that I wanted to go for a UK
firm and went all GM…
Bats
Lion Revolution
SAF Infinity
GM Icon
SAF (Genus) Retired for happy memories now really

Finally after all that So my 2013 kit will be…the new Original L.E. Gloves (from Sports Direct) some left over L.E. pads from hisroyal Stigness… oh and the 3 year old Gel Gully 2’s are being replaced by the newer model for Christmas I am reliably informed. :)

yes they seem pretty good, I really like the 909 pads and they are basically the same but the l.e. has better finishing, like leather instep.

I've a pair of the D3O ones which are very comfortable. Very impressed with them myself.

Lovely Buzz, looks superb! I like the way how you posted your year-by-year kit :)

Seems like Stig didn't get to play many games in 2012 season, hence, he gave pair of pads to Buzz. I guess rain is to be blamed :D Seems like a very generous bloke :P :D

I really rate them, very comfy and the strap isn't ridiculously long like what's on most pads these days!
