Bat Repair - First topic in this forum...

Hey guys, after trying soo many times i am finally in this forum and will post some pic of my latest bat repair...

Edge Crack


Opend the crack and fill it with wood glue


Clamped it using Julian Millichamp mthod..


Sanded it and this wwas the result.


Hope to hear from u guys wht do u think about this repair...

looks a good job mate, well done, one piece of advice, is stay away from wood glue, as its brittle, I would use PVA to stop the glue chipping away :)

Wood glue is often PVA based unless it says the word 'resin' in the name/description.

Oh i didnt realise, sorry mate, The stuff I had waas extremely brittle and kept breaking lol

What a refreshing first post, didnt need help with pictures, cricket related and he's from an exotic country, Cricket in Panama!!

But we don't know how big the edges are and what bat he should buy next  ;) ;) :D :D
