Knee Injury. PCl reconstruction
« on: February 21, 2013, 11:16:20 PM »

Evening everyone. I had a pcl reconstruction in september and am just wondering if any other members have had this done. If you could share your experiences, recovery time if it was a full recovery and any special exercises or rehab they done. Any advice would be much appreciated

Posterior cruciate ligament?

Snapped my ACL in both knees so thing it's similar, what method did they use to repair it as this has a bearing on recovery times. I had a patella tendon graft to reconstruct mine but was offered a hamstring one when I did my other knee at 22 (1st one was @ 16 so seems techniques had moved on in the 6 year gap!)

Had my ACL done last year and from what I can tell PCL is the better (for want of a better word) to tear, just rehab little every day, 15 mins, are you going to a class set up by the NHS?  I was back playing 6 month after my op!
