didnt say that. I rate him as a better all-round cricketer than Rashid and more importantly he seems to be mentally stronger.Haven't seen much of Kerrigan so can't really comment on his potential
I wonder who else could take the gloves?
Prior is only 31 so could have a good 5 years left at the top.
Possibly so on the mental side - though Rashid did pretty well in the Big Bash for two seasons and under pressure for England in ODI cricket, so he can't be a complete muppet. Just reckon with Rafiq that he is very much an out and out bowler, whereas Rashid is a three dimensional cricketer.
Having a good Big Bash doesn't equate to being worthy of a Test spot for England surely? First class wickets should. I have nothing against Rashid, he is obviously talented and I would love to see a leg-spinner playing for England in a Test match but I just don't see it happening in the foreseeable future.
No, but if you've levelled the suggestion that he is mentally weak I think it is an environment in which to perform which would reasonably countter the allegation
Are there any Kiwi members around that know what the chances of some cricket tonight are?
