Tushar , That dent could be easily repaired , cover the rest of bat with something and expose the dented part to steam out of a kettle. The dent will expand and return back. Sand using different grades till the desired finish is achieved . You could probably do it after the season . I had a h4l bat that the postman delivered with a massive dent and did the same .
I was thinking of doing that till i found a very thin crack right in the middle of the dent, its not major but its a crack none the less so decided to instead water down some glue and then just leave it as is...
how does the bat tap up? i am really interested in this profile from salix. how is the pressing compared to your other bats? im playing only 20/20 now with a pitch that has mid to just a tad low - so im wondering if this is the best profile to go for in salix's range.
This is mid or high-mid middle, i usually use mid-low or low, so its a bit of a change for me. Bat feels big in hands, i have had better picking up bats but this is not the worst pick-up (H4L 3lb monster picks up lighter) and used it today it felt "not-ready"
but it has only had abt 30 mins of knocking...pressing wise off the shelf it feels harder than some of the forum brands...i am not sure what you are using right now but i just knocked in a Kooka for a friend and this is pretty close to it in terms of hardness of the feel...
