i believe T-Rapta will be launching at the beginning of april....website is partially up and a cricket store online and its just cricket review will be out at launch as well....their softs look good, bats are good as well, decals need a bit of work.

www.affinitycricket.co.uk is a new brand, Hand making their own quality bats. i have one ( spectre ) low sweetspot and love it. #pingsoffthetoe

HitsHard is something I have been working on with Andrew at Salix on over the closed season. I didn't want to say anything or post bats etc as I would obviously want to take them to the market and sell to you lovely people. As you will all be aware at present HitsHard is not a forum sponsor. I have approached Admin in the past and the website should be finished soon.

HitsHard are indeed part of the Salix family. HitsHard offers amazing handmade bats in two grades, power and grade 1. There is just the stock shape at present and a single set of softs. In the near future I hope to bring the brand to the forum, but in the meantime please PM me of you want anymore info etc.

what is " Power " grade....im coming out with a lower grade bat and am looking for catchy names as well. can i also use " power "? i was going for grade X.....

OR is Power grade something else?

Power range is the HitsHard grade 2. Just a different way of naming a bat grade was the thinking.

I would suggest that this other salix brand is possible a spin off for some of the lesser grade willow. There's only so much G1 willow to go around at the end of the day, with Salix (main brand) and AJK (his own named brand), getting the best of willow.

Having a subordinate brand for a different market is normal.
Brand segmentation is good practice.
It's about having clear lines of communication from the company to the public.

What's fishy about it? He's been more honest then most people about his bat maker, good luck to that man.
