looking decent mate! just keep practicing and you will get more comfortable the more you are batting. only thing i would say is try not to hit the balls on your legs so fine try to on drive the ones on middle/leg - leg as if the pitch stops on you and you are trying to put them through square leg you might get a leading edge. but that is being picky

toenails ....

watch the video very very carefully upto 1 minute

take a look at your hands when you lift the bat back. its like you leave go with your top hand and then rotate the hand towards yourself meaning your v is towards the inside edge ........ unfortunately this means that you can not drive the ball properly as you have to drop your elbow and then pat the ball with your hands and a bend wrist.

Try to line up your v's towards the outside edge between splice and outside edge.

stop the video on 19 seconds for a perfect example ... will need the full HD to see it clearly though.

I think if you sort this out you will be a very very different and much improved batsman as you seem to have the right idea at what shots to play.

Im going to record a few videos of grip, back lift and basic swinging of the bat and also so very controversial thoughts on how you should bat.

none of this 100% side on or even weight distribution of weight on your feet in your stance ..... so it may seem very strange and a big no no to some.

Best way is probably to set up a free blog and then post up the writings here.

Have the back lift straight. It might help coming round on the ball.

It also simplifies everything. I know some great batsmen had their backlift at aroun 3rd/4th slip, but they were in the top 0.5%. I find just make everything as simple as you can.

I'm no qualified coach but the first thing that really struck me was your grip.

It seems that your grip has the V's of your hands lined up between the spine and the inside edge of the bat (hard to explain properly) causing the face to be very closed. Making playing of your legs easy but makes it very difficult to play on the off side.
