Wow wow wow my new custom SAF is just amazing!

It has that lovely leather on willow noise when I push and glance, but I was struggling to describe the noise it made on two middled square cuts on Monday, someone said it was like a gun shot going off, and having listened to the youtube on this thread it sounded just like the 1.22 crack.  I am still smiling now as I can hear it echoing around my head and can still see the new ball zipping off for four.

It truly is the best sound a batsman could ever hear.

my ricochet sounds like a cross between a whip crack and a gunshot! it makes my knees go weak every time i hear that sweet sound!

There's a beauty with Brett Lee hitting one out of the ground that has a fantastic noise! There's no other sound like it!

I am reminded of something akin to a bullwhip cracking when stunning willow comes leather.

Gunshot -used to hear it when I middled something with the Newbery Excalibur - unfortunately it was rarely heard!
