Which Pakistani Bat would you choose?
« on: March 26, 2013, 09:38:33 AM »

Have the opportunity to pick a bat(s) from Sialkot so wondering if I should go for the most obvious choice – CA (15000, 12000) or choose something different.

It’s not me hand picking it but a cousin who plays at a decent level. Throw some ideas at me guys...

any overdried, hardly pressed lump, so long as it had a decent handle?

probably a MiDS

These look good too

although the spelling on the website could do with some help. Perhaps Fast Eddie could offer his services!! ;)

I'm pretty sure mine is a MiDS and it's an absolute stormer of a bat.

CA 15000 should be the obvious choice if you don't have any budget limitations. However, in my experience, MiDs is as good as CA if not better.

My choice would be CA15000, CA TRD LTD EDITION and MALIK BUBBER SHER.

Admittedly my English produced bats have always latest far longer than any Pakistani bats I’ve owned. I do usually have them ‘prepared’ before playing with them which tends to be partly pressed and partly mallet knocked in.

MIDs is one I was looking at, as in comparison to the more popular brands they seems to be quite a bit cheaper. Complete rip off on the GN Legend pads but wonder if they’re actually the same pads rebranded or just a rip off of the design?

I’ve had an Ihsan a couple of seasons ago – wasn’t top grade but played very well.

Was rather hoping to get thrown some names which aren’t mainstream to take a punt on – as they’ll potentially be cheaper.
