If you don't middle it there is no wood behind it.

MMM theory time

size of power vs quantity of power or as i call it coverage...........

But if you put a normal bat at 2-8 concaved you mat get the meat only down a narrow path right down the bat....

The idea is to spread the weight so it a even distribute

My theory is as club cricketers lets be honest i think most dont middle it that often it the spread of weight allowing maybe for a less powerful punch but yet a bigger coverage...

I like people thoughts there was 3 bats in mind and mixed for this profile

I like it, reminds me of a GM 1885. Nice classical shape.

I take it this is made by Ryan?

Very Asian profiled, would say it would only suit you if you can bat. Seems to be a lot of wood further up the blade, I imagine the balance would be good, not sure how these rounded tour profiles pick up.

i call it  the dipper the shape was a mick mash of a few things i have been thinking off jaywardene as shown with a tour twist and i also thought about the first kookaburra bubble and the original powerbow

I think the weight is even and i hit higher up

Face is as nice as the back lovely bat

Personally I think this will go very well. I like the theory behind it - a bit Thruxton-esque. And my Thruxton is a gun.

This is a good profile and the concept of equal distribution of wood works well.
I did tried somewhat similar profile in the past and the user is pretty happy with it. The bat does look like a toothpick but goes really well:

If it works for you then it works, simple.

I'd like to see that profile in 2lb 13oz.

It's a nice piece of wood.

That looks similar to the DF retro that Paul had in IJC the other week.

Top finishing.  I had a Kookaburra bubble, I can kind of see that profile there.  Had a lovely middle, unfortunately following a winter refurb it has just died/lost ping.

RIP my first adult bat.
