Dusting off the April Blues
« on: April 22, 2013, 08:45:49 PM »

A post bringing together many stories I have been part of/heard about the first game of the season. I hope it's quite a fun read!

Do any of the situations ring a bell or have you had a better/more traumatic start to the season?

Great read thank you, I fear the start of my season will most definitely be the latter part of your story.

Fabulous read!

I think the first part sums up why we all love cricket, the sights, the sounds, the nuances etc.

The second part is the cold reality for most of us! Guess we're all looking for a bit of the first half ;)

Cheers guys, sadly the second half was actually mainly my experiences, while the first half was stories heard from friends (mainly that played in Australia!)
