Side Strain
« on: May 13, 2013, 01:56:01 PM »

I got a side strain  on the side of my non bowling arm and it feels like a grade 1.
How much time it will take to recover fully ?
Any advices and rehab help to recover fast would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi mate, I pulled a muscle between my ribs during my season. Was 10 weeks before I could bowl again, and about 15 before I could bowl at full pace. Not saying that's how long it'll be for you though, because I did quite a job on mine. Good luck with your recovery; I know how painful it probably is for you at the moment!

I am having a slight twitching pain when I am bending my body side ways towards the injury side. There is very light constant heavy ness around that area.

Ok doesnt sound too serious, if you can see someone and get doing a couple of exercises along with rest and some analgesic cream you should be ok in 2 odd weeks i would guess...
