Before my best ever score I had an omelette, nothing special I hear you say but one egg was a double yoker and the other which I've never seen was a triple yoker! The odds on a double yoker are 1-1000 the odds of a tripple yoker are 1-1billion. Those odds were only bettered by my odds on a ton!

Shoulda bought a lottery ticket that night!

So you carb load as if you were running a marathon, then sit around waiting to bat and hang around in the slips for 30 overs?

Hardly carb loading as I'm not consuming more than a small bowl of each several hours apart. Seem to be getting plenty of batting and bowling at the moment, so burning it off isn't a problem. Found in the past that not eating and drinking enough before a game is more of a problem.

I was thinking that, odd choice!

Omlette with spinach and peppers for breakfast, covered with half a bottle of tobasco :)

Then banana and a swift half on the way to the ground #athlete

For morning 25-overs game, I usually eat a bagel before I head to ground and that is sufficient.

However, last week due to me waking up late I was in rush so I had two slices of Pizza which was left over from night.

Banana at the most and one bottle of some energy drink like Gatorade etc - the low sugar version though

Banana smoothie pre match. Half before I bat and half before I bowl. If its a noon game I'll have an omlette and sweet potatoes for breakfast.

salmon on a saturday morning ( nice one grandma ) ... if not then tends to be something horrific from the co op . nobody likes egg and tuna !

Think I'm gonna go for cornflakes tomorrow morning followed by an omelette for lunch with a banana before I leave. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's game as its only 5 minutes from my house compared to my home games that are 45 minutes away!

We meet at around 8am for every away game in Wetherspoons and have a large breakfast!
