Really interested in one as have seen some beauties this season and they seem good value at the moment. ANyone had any experience with one?

Few mates at my school have them and they are lovely. Would be interested myself if they weren't so expensive.

i got a custom made bat by rob at m and h at the start of last season. and the bat is an absolute belta, it's expensive but in nearly 2 seasons use it still has no cracks at all. i'm hoping it will last about 3-5 years at the least, which makes it worth the money.

Complete overcharge, go direct to the batmaker.

Just consider that redback, hell4leather, SAF, Chris Easby and others (sorry if i havnt mentioned you) all offer a grade 1 bat between £130-170 - why is it then m&h that use a lot of grade 2 willow can charge £250-275 for their bats? You are paying an extra £100+ for a label at the end of the day. Yes they may be good bats, but you will often have to buy stock bats as opposed to requesting a bat to be made up for exact specifications, that is unless you do their bespoke experience which again is more expensive........at the end of the dat it's your choice and your money, but you really pay more for the label at m&h - my advice, get a handmade one!

Yeh, you'll probably find that M&H will be very similar to some of those listed above anyway.

Im sure most of the batmakers mentioned above would be able to replicate a bat for you, i know that Norb from SAF bats managed to do a replica of the gray-nicolls dyna-drive and it looked spot on - you might just want to send a few emails around to the master podshavers.
