agree, good well though out bag just no quality in the manufacturing

Indeed, I had one and it fell apart after one season.

This season I've had the Slazenger backpack bag, that's been absolutely superb. I don't take a hell of a lot of kit to a match day but it's been a great bag and will continue to use it next season as well as it's still in great condition. You may struggle if you're a keeper with this bag, however there is a surprising amount of space in it.

Yes - agree wholeheartedly. I have the Salix duffle, which is more than ample for match days and a hell of a lot more useful for training/fitting in other peoples' cars...

What do you guys think of 2 bags. I might get two smaller bags. One duffle(or even a backpack) for gloves and misc. and a small wheelie dedicated for bats and pads. Less pressure is put on the bags so they last longer and its cheaper to get these two then one big bag which has it's chains and pockets gone by seasons end

sounds like a handy idea to be honest only concern from a personal preference is it will probably be bigger to pack into a car then one large bag

The thing is, as soon as you say you want to get bats in a wheelie, you have a minimum length of 86cm, and generally, it's still going to be a big bag.

GN Nitro = worst quality bags ever.

Also agree - on my second (first zip ripped while packing it for the first time) and its tearing and scuffing.  Word is the new GN range is more hard wearing, will have to wait and see...

the stitching's gone on mine around the zips and edges to the pockets, will have to see not really wanting to spend the money on something that wont last

My kit for next season is coming along nicely. I took a 15 year break from cricket, recently played the last half for a village cricket team and now have the bug.

So far I have got myself:

Ayrtek Elite Pads
Ayrtek Elite Gloves
Nike Century II Cricket shoes
Aero P2 Strippers
Salix Pod Pro Bag

Still looking for a bat right. Might also pick up a Ayrtek Helmet

I fond a duffle and a small holdall is the best option form me. Duffle fits easily into any boot (I drive a mini cooper) and the small holdall for clohtes and shower stuff. Keep the helmet in the mesh bag and have attached that to the duffle. Really handy when doing away trips as no one really minds a small holdall in the back with them.

Waiting for the new Salix range to be displayed before making this decision...but a whole new kit seem appropriate.
