Fair enough, each to their own! Personally, I really like it, picks up nicely and responds really well. :)

Well, if you take all the bats I've bought new for 150 and under, I would say that it ranks top, unless you count the Helios, which cost me £180, but I was meant to be refunded £50, which have yet to receive! With 38mm edges and a 60mm spine, weighing at 2.9, it's a pretty big bat for the weight! I guess my Bubble Star comes in at that price range, and although it performs nicely, it does pick up pretty poorly...

Thanks for the reply - if it performs then that's all that matters :)

How good are the gloves? I'm keen on second pair.

I am yet to find a glove on the market that beats them. I personally prefer the snug fit over the standard men's size and the offer great flexibility and protection.

It's not really, is it Trype? That's a beautiful selection of kit.

Many thanks - it was actually quite therapeutic getting the stuff out because I was able to pack the bag properly afterwards instead of just stuffing it in anyhow! Top tip with these wedge shaped bags is to put pads in upside down.

Pads are Uzi Green Mamba (Uzi)
Gloves: AS Sniper (Uzi) Aldred (Aldred)
Bats L to R:
Ninja Assassin (bought from this forum)
Salix Pod Performance (IJC) - this has an A stamped on the shoulder - anyone know what that means?
Aldred Supreme  (Paul Aldred)
Bag: M&H T2 (IJC)
Lid: Ayrtek Premier Titanium (Ayrtek)
 Armguard: Stretton Fox

whatever happened to helios?

I think the Willow Barron took him for a couple of grand so i don't think he's trading anymore - could be wrong though.

Now my gloves are here, I can post a couple of pics of my stash - most is the same as last year, so you will have seen it all before, multiple times!!

Bats - SAF Genus 100
       - DS bat, Pakistani shape (both three seasons old, but really well looked after/refurbished :o)

Gloves - 2014 GM Original L.E.
          - 2012 GM Original L.E.

Pads - 2012 GM Original L.E.

Thigh Pads - Foxy specials (slightly larger than normal mens)

Shoes - Nike Span 7's spiked up

Helmets - Masuri Ti (one Blue and one Black - stockpiling...!)

Box - Shock Dr

Bag - Salix duffle

and a few odds and sods from the bag (grips, bat covers, sweat bands etc...)

I am not a great hoarder of kit - if I am not going to use something it gets sold on! I have a few other bits and bobs in the loft (odd random thigh pad, really old kit from 10 years ago) but this is all I take to nets or games

Decent boot mate and very comfy, only worn them around the office for a couple of mins tho :)

Selling well too according to what the adidas boys said and feedback from pros has been strong as plenty of them in use on the international scene.
