I suspect I am bucking the trend, but instead of buying new kit (I have got new (to me) spikes, gloves and a bat from eBay), I am actually going back to some of my old kit to start the season. At present, my kit will be 2009 Kookaburra Ice Sub Zero bat, pads and gloves, 2012 players thigh pads, Puma helmet, and Adidas SL22 that I bought on eBay fairly cheaply. My main motivation for going back to the Ice stuff is that I have just repaired the bat, and the first season I had it I had my best season with the bat ever (averaged 75 in u15s for my club with three 50's (85*, 69 and 66*), and averaged 115 in the county cup) and am hoping that I can reach those heights again at long last. My other kit includes a Kookaburra Rogue 850 (I have always bought Kookaburra until last season), a CCX 900, and MSR 'The Class', and a GM Flare Original. All the bats are 2.9lb, except the CCX which is 2.8. I have 2 pairs of GM Original LE batting gloves bought from eBay for a combined £30ish, Rogue 850 gloves, a pair of unbranded gloves, unbranded pads from eBay (I think the seller is on the forum), and plain thigh pads made by Flix, who I think are largely an eBay based seller.
I took pictures of my stuff, but they were too large a file size to upload
