100% Wool Cricket Vests
« on: July 15, 2013, 06:25:37 AM »

I'm trying to find a plain white 100% Wool Cricket Vest. They are very hard to locate and was wondering if anyone on this forum had one. I have done another thread a couple of months ago I know but I didnt find one so am doing one now! I also live in Australia so there is also postage costs.
Thanks!

Do you want a short sleeved T shirt or a vest vest? T shirt link below for the UK;

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Super-Natural-Relax-Sleeve-Merino/dp/B009QX8L1C/ref=sr_1_1?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1373883282&sr=1-1&keywords=wool+vest+white

Vest Vest, woolen vest. Like the professionals use!

Professional what?

I haven't seen a professional cricket player wear a wool or string vest since the early 80's... most people these days uses some form of polyester compression vest/t-shirt

seems like a bit of an odd ask

Yes they had a very posh vintage cricket style vests out recently for about 90 quid or so. Wool is not very practical these days so you will struggle to find anything in cricket shops. Your best is charity/vintage shops or designer labels.

You meant the sleeveless jumper. Plenty around in wool from 40 pounds upwards.

Somerset still wear 100% wool jumpers in the cc as do the australian team. I can provide them if you are interested. Any colour combination including all white.

Thanks
