In the words of Gordon Ramsey....Bat Buying....DONE! Have managed to acquire what are considered best in class (apart from SAF :) obviously ) in the bat department just need to find time in nets to use them so I can see how they perform as a label doesnt guarentee performance as well all know....damn you durex performa!!

Two carbon/carbo handled models to try out to see if they make much difference and some other bats too :)

Letts hope for 53 runs this season with those beauties tom!!! That'll work out at like 20 quid a run ;)

when you think about it like that.... ( Pete H would be about 150 quid a run!)
Are Vantage supposed to be very good?

Haha that sounds like its beyond my maths!!!
lets make the assumption that Mr H has 50 bats with an average price of £250 (a totally arbitrary figure) – a total investment in willow if £12,500
Then we say on an average season Mr H scores 1000 runs, on that basis we are looking at £12.50 per run
Alternatively you could say that if Mr H scores about 1000 runs in a season and he has 50 bats that equates to 20 runs per bat per season. We could then say that as his bats are so awesome we can make the assumption that he only deals in fours (to keep the maths easy) and on that basis it costs him £50 per shot per bat.

I think

Not sure if its 50 anymore boys - kind of lost count!
Traded a couple, sold a couple, and purchased a few more!!
Will list the bats again soon! But am expecting another 4 or 5 this/next week.

The collection has improved I feel!  ;)

What colour stickers Tom? And it isn't complete unless you have a GM IMO ;)

I'd like to hear about your bat history, my bet is a Slazenger or 2, maybe a GM and many Newberys...

The Vantage looks a big piece of willow for sure ? looks to be a very different weight than the Laver etc.
