I'd be very tempted to give it a very thin coat of oil/wax, just to give the grains a little more definition. Just a kitchen roll, pour a small amount of oil on it and just rub the face and edges with it, almost like you're cleaning the bat, then wait about 2 days before putting a scuff on. Of course, if you're not a fan of oil or wax, then ignore the above.

It does look big for its weight, I'm pretty sure it will play better than the Salix if you find it pretty much the same in terms of responsiveness at the moment.

Glad it finally arrived, I was getting worried about the package. Really happy you like it.

In terms of oiling, the bat hasn't been oiled so would recommend oiling it and knocking it in for the rest of the season and bringing it out in winter nets ready to go.

As I didn't have the adult range stickers at the time and just the junior ones I'll send you a set. Choice of black or Cadbury purple.
