Why is everyone obsessed with the number of grains? I'm not always sure that it does make a bat look better...

Most i have is the gt with 12/13, but that doesn look crammed, i like 9-10 straight, evenly spaced grains if we are talking look alone, think it looks more solid and just neater than 20+ crammed in!!

I have a 20 grainer with about 5 heartwood and no blemishes which I will put up soon

Only bad thing was I ended up drinking out of it as it's a decent size cup still a great night from what I remember as had a little too much

Is this the Talisman that you bought? Also did you sort that weight/balance issue you had on the bat a while ago?

Yeah it is mate, I havn't sorted out the weight yet, will be sending it to Newbery to have 1.5 ounces shaved off and then it will be perfect
