I think you're right. Some people love 10 grains, others love the more grains the better. Some like the blade 1 shade, whereas others love some heartwood! If we were all the same then some bats would never sell!!
So keep the pics coming chaps........great to see!  ;)

Blueroom new wave custom made a few weeks back. 13 straight grains with a touch of heartwood.

obviously not the winner, but not bad imo, maybe could have done with a little better spacing, and was pre oil so grains arent as outstanding! found its way to a new home this evening anyway so all is good!

This is the best bat i own. Weighs 2lbs 5ounces all in (grip, armourtec etc) has a middle like my 3lb bat. I wish i could clone this bat. Not a fan of big edges which seems to be the fashionable thing these days. Much rather have a high spine with plenty of wood in the middle and a light bat. More of a timer than an out an out hitter :)

and yes, i am a die hard Aussie fan through the ups and downs. I think Mitchell johnson rocks! and the sweat shirt use to belong to Tim Paine :) hell i even drove from nottingham to cardiff to see Australia play england! ...like i said, die hard Aussie fan

My Ice sub zero 7 of the most evenly spaced straight grains i have seen :)

Genesis Hurricane (graphite) 7 grains not as straight as the sub zero weighs around 2lbs 6 ounces

The Beast 6 grains wide spacing. Weighs 2lbs 10ouncs very nice bit of wood

Custom made bat, 14 even grains but not straight on the full length of the bat. weight 3lbs

That's some collection, not a massive fan of Kook gear but I'd happily take all those off you.

I love kookaburra gear. The link below shows all my gear (recently added some fielders pads from kookaburra) All of my mates prefer GM and i get a fair bit of stick from them lol

I dont know why people dont like kookaburra. Must admit i have broken 2 of them pretty much beyond repair. My pure beast graphite that was repaired free of charge after 3 seasons of play. I dare not use it again ...i dont think it can take another drive or yorker. I have a diablo Dm which suffered the same fate as well :(

What's with the dowels/repairs in the face?

I'm a GM man myself ;)
