That does look awesome - but I think it looks really "square" (well rectangular) - actually it is a noticible that bats are losing some of their soft edges for a more aggresive functional look...

Looks a great bat!

I agree, I have noticed bats becoming more square and aggressive. I was watching somerset v waricshire last night and Keiswetter's M&H looked huge with very square edges. Not the typical M&H look

Flatter faces are ok, but ones that are completely flat (or close enough) still look ugly to me.

On the greg chappel cricket website, it says "sweet spot - low, middle,high (seriously it's all 3)

As I've only seen them come from the big manufacturers

Yes they can if they have full control over their product rather than just applying stickers to ready made bats of a certain grade.

very very nice bat but $795!!!!! Confident my own bat brand Python Cricket are very very very close to that quality.

Jesus  ........... no wonder these aussies cant play cricket, they cant afford to buy a bat!

Welcome to Australia thats whats with the huge cost - this is why I buy bats from the sponsors on here - get a cracking bat for half the price of a top big named bat over here, including postage from the UK

it is a truely exceptional bat, but I wouldnt pay upwards of £400 on a bat ever.
