Well it went like this...

Missed the first 4 balls, feet stuck in concrete and eyes never saw the ball.
Progressed to edging it with the odd one coming off the middle
Wrote off the first session as my gloves were as stiff as cardboard and the bat was obviously too heavy

2nd session with the Argon I looked like a batsman at last, thanks in part to using Jakes gloves and the Argon Original LE (lovely stick)
3rd session was back to the Icon and my feet had started to move as well, risked 65mph towards the end and even hit a couple

Learnt nothing about the hunts bat and nothing about the GM's because I know they go well anyway.

Peggy was the brains of the outfit, so that sounds about right compared to you two  ;)

Yeah I think the machine was at 18 yards,  75 and 78mph was very quick!

Any suggestions for improvements?

I was just thinking that 'the flourish' could do with a little work - but then out it came! ;)

Well 18 yards/22 yards is 18% less distance to travel and I would imagine 65mph on the machine would feel like 79mph due to the reduced reaction time. I did a couple at 78  mph to you Ryan so that would be 95mph  :o
