I'm sorry but it is a genuine CA, however, a counterfeit CA 12000 TRD LE.

I agree with Cover_Drive, it looks more like a CA 10000+. Seller might be making few ectra bucks by selling it as TRD

I guess if you compare my genuine TRD, you can just tell the quality over one than the other

Completely plausible. So all the markings and reflective sticks with emblems are correct but the original top stickers removed and a higher grade set (possibly fake) ones applied.

There seem to be lots of "CA made, MB Made, Ihsan made" blanks on ebay.

It's 100% a CA, just not a TRD. As many have said the TRD sticker is too low on the face.
I doubt it is a CA plus 10000 either as all the Plus 10000's i've seen have been very nice cosmetically,Plus 8000 and Plus 5000 have the CA branding stamped differently to this bat, my guess is it's a Plus Extra power with the 12000 stickers. I quite like the look of the bat but its not a Plus 12000.

Just received this email;

"Sorry for a late reply. I've spoken to my supplier and he assured me the bat is 100% original, I never had any complaints about CA bats in the past as I'm in Birmingham and supplier shipped it straight to your address I didn't know the actual condition of the bat.

Well Its my duty to fulfil your demands. I can offer you a 40% discount on the price you have paid."

If this is actually the case, I'm worried the supplier is lying to him. What do you think?

All of the genuine TRD's I have seen have the CA branding on the edges down much lower towards the toe... Almost level with the bottom of the A on the back sticker

They should probably start burning 'TRD' into their edges, just to stop this from happening. Still, a 40% discount means that you got a bat for around £105, and if it responds well and picks up fine, then maybe take up his offer on it! :)

If it responds well enough off the mallet, I'd keep it.

This thread has got me questioning my CA Plus 15000. As I said previously I bought one last year from eBay which turned out to be fake. That seller was registered in Dubai and used to ship direct from Pakistan. He too seemed oblivious to the concept of a fake CA.

My latest one was also from eBay and I had watched a few of this CA Plus 15000s before and waited for the buyers to write reviews. All positive. He is based in the UK and this one was shipped from the UK but does have some listings however where the location is shown as Pakistan.

It has all the hall marks (that I know of), of a CA Plus 15000:
1. The reflective CA / VIP stickers
2. The green CA branded scale grip
3. 15000 toe guard
4. Burnt on edge stamps
5. CA booklet and anti scuff

Even has the verification code sticker. Albeit it was scratched and registered. Also looks like the sticker has been removed and reapplied.

The bat looks pretty nice. 10 Clean straight grains but the quality of the stickers was/ is the biggest sticking point for me. I know the 2013 embossed ones are pretty good and earlier ones weren't known for their quality (this one is 2012) but some of the printing is blurred.

Here are some pics. Would appreciate thoughts....

Hologram sticker in the wrong spot, where it says English willow on the splice the w in willow shouldn't run onto the green colour.

The 1 on the back sticker shouldn't run onto the colour and that colour should be green
