B&S 2014 UK Launch at Vitas Cricket
« on: October 28, 2013, 04:07:18 PM »

B&S attended our CBF event on 26/10/13 and launched their new 2014 range for the UK.

I love the bat shapes, and those who tried the demo versions out at the CBF event will know just how well they perform.

Limited Edition:

Scorch:

Softs:

Prices

Limited Edition £240
Scorch £190

Softs

LE Pads £62
LE Gloves £55

Scorch Pads £50
Scorch Gloves £42

There will also be a small number of players clefts available, these are pricier obviously, £360. But the size and shape is incredible. No concaving.

Bats im sure will be incredible but those soft look horrendous, as if they have been designed by a 5 year old. The colour schemes really arnt great.

I do like the bats, especially since I like a thick toe! Oh man, I really want a Players Limited Edition, that shape looks immense! :-[

Just goes to show how subjective these things are - I love the LE softs and the Scorch gloves - also like the Scorch bat shape.

Personally I love the LE softs. The 2 LE bats they had I respectable weights were really concaved which was a massive shame as then rebound on the pictured LE at the start was unreal and the face was a beauty.

The B&S gear was in fact that good in my opinion I ordered the softs plus a supreme stock bat for the same price I was gonna spend on an Oblivion E41. The price for the quality of this gear is amazing. Actually really looking forward to getting mine and trying it out next season and firstly in winter nets in the new year.

What weight is the players B&S LE?

They were 2.13 or 2.14 and big pieces of wood they were as well.

Yes both ones i have currently are 2'14. Massive but on the heavier end of most peoples preferred range.

When stock arrives, there should be some lighter ones in there, obviously will be slightly smaller, but still very very big compared to most bats.

LE softs are essentially the Supremes we stocked this year, with some new colours and minor design tweaks. Incredibly comfortable and classy feel to them, lots of nice leather in the pad, the addition of pittards improve the gloves too. Great value, something so top end from a bigger brand would cost much more.

The scorch softs are lightweight and comfy, I like the colours and the fact that they are a bit jazzier. The modern style pad may appeal to a man of your taste brucie? ;)
