Not sure Ciaran, it may be an idea to email GCCC or Kingsgrove and ask. They may well have the gear in stock, just not updated websites.

Kingsgove have a little bit of grey nic and slaz gear, most should be in by later this month.

The fusion 2 has a cane handle only, it's sales gimmick is the anti vibration dampner ie the rubber (No Swearing Please). I have a feeling those 2 strap nitro pads are junior only, there has been a version of them out for the last 5 years or so.

Has anyone seen the GN 'Legend'?, I Think it slots into their range amongst the custom's and the LE's which will give you an idea of the price bracket it will occupy. It was the only bat amongst all the samples that bordered on something Id use. It looks just like the GN customs but instead has a Gold and Chrome horizontal oval below the splice sticker that has legend written across it. It picked up nicely and had allot of meat (a 'bulbouss' Stu K profile) but obviously was made of a fairly sparse cleft. As for the majority of the other bats they were fairly bland.

They will be made to order BL, and expect to pay around the $900 mark.

I didnt even remotely want one and that still knocked the wind from my lungs!
Skipper where did you come across the RRP?

Is this getting utterly ridiculous to anybody else? I though it was excessive (amongst other things) when bats started cracking the $600 AUD mark a few seasons back, purely on the basis they sported a players name if little else.

If GN can justify selling bats of the quality that they are for the prices that they are, then any  handcrafting podshaver worth his salts should be a veritable millionare!
Instead why are we 'dying' out?(rhetorical)

So much of that kit is so nice! Dots on the Puma batting gloves look tripe, but keeping ones look good! Love the Puma Iridium, and the nitro pads look good.

Also, the GN 'Strippers' look awesome, maybe the hip bit might be a bit bulky?

Oh, and Tom... Where the bloody hell do you find all this??!!

I've seen either the new Aus Newbery kit Tom is talking about, or the 2009 UK stuff... Guess I will wait and see Tom's pics before I can say which!

The pics of the Newbery stuff is very poor quality and I'm not sure if it's even new, it looks similar to last years. I may upload anyway later.

Retail prices I do know, for which item in particular?

And how did I find it? Just spent a while searching and looking.
