As far as I know both balls went between the grill and peak. The actual damage was caused by the protection, or lack of it, in the helmets. Then again that wouldn't fit the boring Shrey world domination English conspiracy rubbish you talk, would it? Now you have extended your area of expertise into politics, after stints as a doctor and cricket helmet expert/unpaid Shrey marketing exec it's getting a bit obvious you don't know what you are talking about.

Vic Nicholas

I actually fly across from down under and play cricket in Scotland every year. The polls may show different at the moment, but Scotland I feel will choose to stay in the Union. Being there the last 10 weeks again I can tell you that the NO vote are not as loud and chest beating as the YES people. So you saying it's going to happen just shows you ignorance on this issue.

As for helmets in Scotland and Australia, the most poplular I see playing is still the trusty old plastic Albion, followed closely by Masuri. Never seen a Shrey in either country, but the Ayrtek makes the odd appearance!

I am still awaiting for someone, anyone, to enlighten me about this "legal action" that is being taken out against Shrey.

Who is it by?

What is the hoped for outcome?

When is it happening?

I am genuinely interested.

Are you aware of the legal problems shrey are facing Vic?

I still await your basis for this spurious comment.

Can you please enlighten all of us who is taking legal action against Shrey, on what grounds and what outcome are they hoping to achieve?

I am really interested to know this as I have not heard anything.

Can you please enlighten us all?

At the moment, all I hear is the sounds of crickets in the dark...

Was Just wondering who all have complied with the new regulations for Helmets. I know obviously Ayrtek have as well as Masuri. But has anyone else? The GN and GM 2014 catalogues just have old helmets in them...i doubt those are legal, so whats going on...anybody?

p.s. and im still looking for that thread where the haters are complaining about Adidas just stickering up Ayrtek helmets and trying to sell them as their own...the nerve of them:)

Acutely Jason adidas dont just sticker up ayrtek helmets because they are licences to adidas.

How do you hear the crickets over the sounds of the marbles rolling around? You are the shrey spokesman Vic, have you tried contacting them?

Given the IPL's popularity in India - which has more than a billion cricket crazy inhabitants - I suspect that Shrey has a long, happy future ahead filled with record sales.

The key factor for overwhelming majority of the indian market is price point. And in the specifics of the helmet market, hitting a price point that works out to approx £15. If Shrey can supply a helmet for that price then great, but I wouldn't want to wear one, even on a low, slow Indian road!

It is correct t say there are proceedings against Shrey. I do not know the specifics of what they are or who they are from, one could easily put 2 and 2 together and assume Masuri though.

And you would be wrong.

No proceedings from anyone - and that includes Masuri.

Sorry to ruin your day.
