It is no different to going up to an Aussie and saying "G'Day mate" in an Aussie accent.

If he had done it to a white skinned cricketer, and put on a 'proper' English accent, would he have had the same outcome? Probably not.

What he did was wrong, a gross misjudgement on his part, but to label him a racist is, in my opinion, a bit harsh. He has already lost his job over it.

Monty is Luton born and bred. As English as anybody. Commentators are supposed to do research and he's failed big time.
