I think the purpose of stickers is threefold
1. to provide a distinctive finish to the bat which compliments the shape
2. to make the bat stand out on the shelf in a shop
3. to show off the brand on the pitch

I kind of agree with the comments above.

for me you really need to make your brand name stand out more with these.

Just a couple of ideas to share
1) Instead of 3 legs, can't the bulldog be turned a little bit to the sides to show 4 legs, The 4th leg looks more like something else.
2) How about a dog collar tag style bottom sticker with a silvery edge around the circle and just the name bulldog cricket ?.
3) If this bats are marketed as high end product , why not add some embossing to it ?. If you look at affinity cricket it's quite clear where the designs have evolved from.

Do you mean the picture of the Bulldog ? Do you prefer the existing Bulldog face ?

Ignore the toe sticker.

Sounds like back to the drawing board !!!

The design process is always very subjective. I always hate designing to a committee, so well done for asking for peoples comments.

I like the new bull dog, but it feels more stern and its a tradition illustration (unlike the rest of the sticker set). The old bull dog was more modern and fun. It depends what your brand is all about. Whenever I do any design work, I always start with the brand ideals and message.

I do think that the fake metal reflective surface on the grading sticker doesn't help with 1980 look to the grading stickers and they are a little out of proportion.

On a good note the colours and main stickers are very eye catching and I like their aggressive/angled shaping.

I prefer your previous branding which with these you appear to be completely abandoning.

For me they are just a bit too dark but sounds like you've tweaked those anyway already

Personally,

Colours/stickers that make it look as though there is an effect within the colour makes it look cheap - as per the purple sections on the front. A shape of them aren't too bad, however they're not exactly unique...

A bit of chrome, use of textures and the purple 'effect' isn't there and this sticker would be improved no end - however textures etc do add a lot of price to the stickers...

Thanks for all the comments guys, all much appreciated. This is the great thing about the forum as you can test the water before spending a fortune on expensive stickers. Will take all the comments on board and have another go.

Cheers

Hugely prefer the last ones mate. These do move a bit far away from the image I think!

Have made a few mods. What do you think now ? Again only draft at the moment. Think the toe sticker needs work. May go just for a circle. And the grade sticker I recognise the font is not everyone's cup of tea.

Enjoying the orange look, red looks a bit dark, but that might just be the camera.

I prefer the smaller toe sticker. How about having a small bulldog as the toe sticker?
