Thats a complete load of bull, if you have nothing of value to add then dont post at all. The vast majority of top international players use sausage style gloves.

Yes raymond you are right but you fail to understand WHY they use sausage gloves. With split finger gloves, the knuckles rexposed so all batmakers highly recommend that players use sausage style finger so the whole of the finger is protected.

Have to agree with Musama, no need to be like that Raymond. Any more and it will be a ban.

Far better to explain why you feel he is wrong.

1. There is no difference in the plams between split and sausage gloves so any difference in grip. Its not as if either gloves protection can affect the grip. Its purely a comfort issue.

2. I apologise in the second instance as im sure tendulkar ponting and the like would listen to batmakers over their own preferences, clearly.

3. Split finger gloves do not leave the knuckles exposed as obviouslt then they wouldnt be sold.

4. What are these dizzieing heights i will achieve by not calling you a moron? i am intrigued.

I agree my tone was hasty and unnessecary, but leo how can you threaten to ban me for calling him a moron when hes clearly talking rubbish.

why don't you just explain that in a more productive way and argue your point respectfully and intellectually rather than in the way you did? Save any further issues such as this

go to your local cricket shop. Get the Kooka Kahuna RP gloves (the most expensive gloves in the market) and curls your fingers. Then you will agree with what I have said. I am not here to teach you life lessons but one day you will realise how far just being friendly takes you.

Dont try and patronise me, being friendly on a cricket forum is hardly going to change anything about my life. People are only generally friendly when it benefits them in some way.

And about the gloves, i dont believe that iit expose the knuckles whilst holding a bat.

i would only think that they wud expose the knuckles if they are too small for u and are streching or straining! as they are designed to have a bit of give! or if u hands are smaller then they wont be exposed at all in my opinion

Please, if someone really wants to, go start a thread on the merits of sausage finger versus split. In the mean time, does any body have any further ideas for matt's new range?

I used to have a sweat band that was black, with red and yellow licks of fire on them (very rock!) - I think a similar trim for the 666 range would look good

That's a bit of a rubbish example, but same idea.

Wrist bands on gloves and straps on pads would look cool
