SS TON MAX POWER.....
« on: December 30, 2013, 02:46:36 PM »

Been a while I was looking for a new bat....and this time I was looking for the top of the line SS TON RESERVE EDITION or the PLAYERS EDITION....went to the delhi's best store(acc to me).

Saw this on the shelf and I was like wow....profile wise you will hardly see any difference in all the SS TON range...but this is the first bat from SS which is different(well I have never seen a TON with a different profile)

I can say there is not even a single millimeter shaved of the back.

Pinged all the bats and I just couldnt believe that ping on reserve and players editions were no match to this bat....

Now as far as the specs go

1. It has 15 straight graims

2. Weighs around 2.10(a bit bottom heavy because of the profile)

3. 42 mm edges....

Costed me around 120 GBP....

Though the original price is 165 GBP...

Looks a nice one.

I have a TON Max Power in stock with this non-concave profile at 2'9, with an oval handle.

Knocked it for an hour yesterday....and its opening up really well....this is my 5th ss bat and none has disappointed me...all have been rockets with concaved profile and grade 2-3 willow....

This is non concaved and grade 1 and it feels better then those after 1 hour of knocking in...

This will surely be my match bat this sunday.....:)

Will share how did it go....

finishing is top notch as you should expect from a big brand like SS TON.....

120 pounds may not sound expensive as per UK standards...but its still considered expensive in india...because you get nice quality bats in 40-70 GBP range....
