Its not a huge crack/split but its at the top, and every time i looked at the bat I saw it and the crumpled sticker, and it annoyed me, probably not worth a repair but I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to these things!

Hi Dunc sorry to hear about the damage. As for the handle get another bind or 2 added to the handle which will thicken it up even if it's just 1/2 on the bottom end without adding too much weight.

Did look a beauty from Jakes original post!

Oh it is, from the (very) few I middled last night it went off like a gun without barely any kick back through the handle. But having big hands a thin handle doesn't suit me. And have before now binned off bats because of thin handles as I find too many grips and you lose feeling of the bat almost its too....rubbery!

Have you tried a double thickness grip? Bulldog have them, they are excellent for this situation!

I found the handle too thin also but replaced it with a double thickness chevron grip from Affinity and it is now perfect!

I didn't know you could get double thickness grips to be honest, Jake has said he'll hoof on a thrid grip for me, so I'll try that first, failing that a double thickness grip, failing that a new handle!!
