A new team

Hey guys I'm currently recovering from surgery however I will be fit for the season coming up! My family and I are moving into Cardiff this means I need a new team to play for! If anybody knows of any teams within 30 minutes of Cardiff I'd really appreciate a heads up :) thanks

If nobody else has given you much feedback then try contacting Arvind at Aswani. Being based in South Wales I'm sure he will be able to point you in the right direction.

We play against lisvane that's in that area, good bunch of lads nice ground and good facilities.

Might be worth a look at.

Ha! My Godson plays for the Lisvane Junior section - what a small world!

nice ground mate and decent setting right next to the golf course.

We play them in a pre-season friendly at our place and then end of season at theirs....our vets team also play them in their 1 fixture per year as well as we get on well with them.

Watched part of a game at Lisvane on Saturday - really nice ground and a lovely setting indeed - wouldn't mind playing there myself, pitch looked a little sticky, but I like that :)

A few BlankBats on display and to my surprise and advertising hoarding for them attached to the nets, which i had actually made.

We’ve got our vets game there on the 11th to finish off the season after welcoming them to our ground in July, one bloke for them smashed 100....questions being asked if he was in fact old and decrepit enough to be a Vet!!

Lisvane's a beautiful ground, they've got a nice setup there. Played for a mates' sixes team at Whitchurch Heath a few years ago and they were a good bunch of blokes, North Cardiff if memory serves.

I have no idea - after I had spent time at the Tiny Rebel Brewery shop in Newport, I could of been anywhere. There were hills in the distance, so definately Wales

Haha I’m 37 this month but physically about 84! I was there to watch Dad play as most of the vets were 1xi players when I was growing up so good to catch up with them.
