Looks a proper pie, beer and fag batsman, just like how a cricketer should be.
Great story and this is what 20/20 is all about.

It's slap and tickle cricket. Sloggy sloggy is good, cracking for the bloke though, good on him.

exactly.

He's a decent enough cricketer, couldnt cut it in Sheffield Shield, that doesnt make you a bad person.  He's 31 now so probably has a 'proper job' like the rest of us, maybe a young family........

He's from a pretty ordinary area in terms of socio-economic demographics (out of interest about 70% poms down there) so wouldnt it be an awsome cinderella story if he scored an IPL gig.........would be life changing for a bloke like that.

only the mean spirited wouldnt wish him well.

PS - Bat stickers say 'Kingsport' never heard of it/them..... maybe a local Perth brand....I'll look into it

the kingsport bat/brand seems to be the house brand of Kingsgrove Sports in NSW

I'm gutted. Sky plused every big bash game. But not this one. As had a tesco delivery so would be up,

Tesco knock, I hit Pause.

45mins later. Sit down press play and sky box says "error" not recorded. Press sky, and he's walking off run out for 112!

Dam you sky, dam you and your crap cheaply made boxes! Grrr.

Surely he's gonna be In The ipl? Aus bb bowlers are better than India's ipl ones, and the tracks are better to bat on!

2tons in aus, is surely worth a decent deal in the ipl.

Probably get bought for 1m+ and won't get a game. Only chance he'll have of playing is if he goes to the lesser franchises

We hits it a long way... with the smaller Indian grounds the crowd better turn up with helmets.

Can he still nominate himself for the auction?  Only a week to go, should be very interesting to see who goes where and who doesn't go anywhere.

Find the missing footage on Youtube, always works for me.  It is definitely worth the effort!

Can't believe its raining in Sydney.

Rain is poor,

His name isn't on the ipl long list. Which should be a short lost by now, but can't find that.
