I have heard from the horse's mouth that Ian Wills no longer owns the business.  He sold it recently.

This thread has also served a very useful purpose.  Usually in my experience, if the forum doesn't like a product / doesn't think it will sell, it ends up flying out the door.  As you guys don't like the shoes, we are certainly going to stock them now!

Speaking off, when's the second shipment of hammers blacks arriving seeing as the first lot sold out so fast?

We have one now, Chris.  It was sold, but the customer returned it: http://www.itsjustcricket.co.uk/cricket-bats-c17/senior-cricket-bats-c18/hammer-black-edition-cricket-bat-p836

New shipment due to arrive around the end of the month.

Google says the directors live in Wales. Can't remember their surnames

Rob Pearce is the guy I've been dealing with.  The decision has been made and the order placed... Thanks for the responses, everyone, as it helped me make my mind up!  :)

I was thinking the sort of trainers you got bullied for if you wore them at school back in the 80's, a Gola or Nick's maybe, but Tesco is another good shout!
Hope they do sell well, plenty of sledging material  ;)

Can't imagine any Pro players using them....
Except Faf Du Plessis as his choice in kit has been very questionable recently  ;)

Keep the negative comments coming, guys!  :) As they aren't available yet, there's still time for me to double our order!!  :D

It's only 3 of us slating them and I'm sure you will sell some, everybody has different tastes and some people will like the idea of a more running shoe then cricket spike approach :)

Haha love the confidence! Have you seen the actual product then Paul or are you going off images?
Might be a subject for a new topic but what other products have been rubbished on here but sold very well for you?

I have seen them, touched them and tried them on.

Very nice cricket shoes.

Anything made by Hammer and, to a lesser extent, Affinity.  Oh and New Balance softs too...

Technically, I am not committing to the order until I've seen them in the flesh, but unlike a lot of others on here, I have confidence in them.
