Out of all the bats I have (Excluding the Lavers, B3 and Hales Bat - Which I have decided to sell and start again next season), my Red Ink has the best performance.

I would love an Octane LE but I am skeptical that performance would actually be better than a 606 so it puts me off a little.

If I could get a G1 2lb10 Amplus-Shape, oval handled Blank Bat for £180-£200 - That would be my next bat.

Canners has a 2.9 laminate for sale mate.

I have 2 bb's in my collection a oversized Amplus bit heavier than I normally use at 2.12 but you'd never know with the pickup and a scat series 1 shape at 2.10.5 which with a heavy heart I may move on. Both really nice bats, the guys are great to deal with and very reasonably priced can't speak highly enough of them and there products.

Need one I can use in league matches bud.

Agree about Mike and Tai they do not get there deserves on here they began as members on here and there enthusiasm grew and they took a chance.

They get there bats made at possibly one of the best makers in the land yet charge realist prices he  they don't get talked about as much as some others who get them pressed at the same place.

Fair play to them they offer great value and great equipment

And remember there just forum members like us who done good

Good thought.

I'd go for these;
B3, they have a growing reputation which needs to be explored.
Warsop
Aldred
SS (Ton), because I've never had one and nearly bought one last week.
SF (Stanford). I saw a couple of beauties at VK Sports recently.

Whatever change would go on a cheeky claret and Stilton, of course.

If your purely looking for value for money none of the millichamp would even get near to any of my range decent bats but too expensive for my taste buds when the same quality is available much cheaper
I do not show all my bats on here but my ones I go for value and quality

Paul @IJC had a couple of really nice Original Low's at the £200 mark. Slightly bottom heavy but they pinged very nicely.

One person as well where forgetting is Ryan Kelsall finishes a very good bat as well made to spec for under 200 sheets last time i looked.

I would also look at HS Sports as well

I don't know. The one's Paul had looked G1 to my eyes, but as each brand grades differently I've no idea.

Well they list the original as G1 for £199 but the CK22 is grade one at £425

Here is the question how do you get a grade 1 for £199 in model A and another G1 for £425 in model B. now I could throw my toys out the pram and blame this and that and throw accusations about different brands and put my views on to you all regardless of if you want to hear them but lucky for you all I'm over it  ??? ??? ???

Morning all.

After posting on FastEddie's Salix conversation last night, I was tracking the Chase FLC which was on ebay (Link Below).

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Elite-Chase-FLC-R11-Four-Clover-/131102688557

It ended up going for £210 shipped to the buyer (probably someone off this forum - And I appreciate Chase offer a free full refurb on this bat).

In terms of this bat, If I put it up against bats I can get for a similar price...;

Gunn and Moore Octane F2 Limited Edition
Millichamp and Hall Amplus MKII
Warsop Marlin Low Density Edition
CA 15000 Players Edition
Salix Pod Performance
H4L Hellfire...

I was just thinking, out of all the bats you could get for £210 (Either via a website, or ebay) which would you all personally go for? (Even better if you could find a link!)

PS. This is just for FUN! No getting eggy about anyone wanting cheap stuff or companies charging too much!! ;)

Just a note of warning - Chase only offer a free refurb if the bat is under 1 year old and you can provide a proof of purchase. Luckily I was expecting this when making my recent FLC purchase from eBay, but it's worth remembering if you're planing to make a bid on one in the future.

Just got my FLC back from her refurb (£30 plus postage) and she looks as good as new. Total cost of about £165.

do millichamp not claim the ck22 is a special oversize cleft? Like they did with the amplus and it's huge price tag.
