the gear is very nice, but at the same time too expensive. There is not the technology that you would expect for £50. Same with Duncan Fearnley -top of the range £50 gloves are made from flipping calf leather. i mean wtf.

Just because a £50 pair of gloves have not got pittards does not make them a bad pair of gloves.

I did not say that its makes the gloves worse. I said that it is not worth the money you are paying for it. I could get a pair of blade strike for under £20 and they woul have the same materials are the Duncan Fearnley top of the range ftec gloves

Do you know anything about what goes into a glove apart from the palm? How is a Blade Strike as good as the Fearnley's if so? What foam, padding, pu etc is used in each?

The thing which dictates the price the most is the palm though!

lol tommo. you know every single company (non Asian that is) get there softs made overseas in India or Pakistan. There is no way they will be able to change it just for you! anyway coloured palms are good as they take longer to show the wear and tear. white palms go yellowy after a season.

M91, the palms are not the biggest cost factor in gloves, unless you can prove me wrong with a breakdown, I've looked at Pittards leather in the Pittards factory and it could be if people went for the really pricey stuff, but they don't. I quite like the Black palms as in the Malik gloves.

Pittards leather is not that expensive to use when replacing Sheep/Lamb skins. I personally feel that using gloves with Pittards leather + a cricket bat handle fitted with an Xtrax grip is the perfect combo.
