Who would ever bet against Somerset, home of the best cricketers in the country and the boys in India.

Very good fight by the Chargers. All most winning it despite being around 20 runs light. Shame Fidel bowled a pair of beamers.

We like to play fair in Somerset, like allowing them northerners to win the county championship because Blackwell moved north to have a game and we did not want to upset him. Surely no-one in the IPL really thinks they can beat Cider Power.

What's the format of the champions league? Is it just a simple league or are there knockout games?

Top two sides go through from each group. (1st Group Stage)

The 8 teams then get divided in to two groups of 4. (2nd Group Stage)

The top 2 of each group go into the semi finals. (Knockout Stage)

Delhi had a fantastic win against the Sri Lankan side yesterday. More importantly, an IPL side finally winning a game!!!

Sehwag blasted a quality 66(getting into form at the right -with the Australia ODI series couple of weeks away) and Karthik played very well and destroyed Mendis.

Nannes was awesome, maybe the best twenty20 bowler in the world. But the star had to be McGrath . Hadn't played since the semi final in IPL1 and bowled like a dream. 2-18, not bad for someone getting straight of the plane and into competitive cricket.
